After watching Maha Bodhi's practice, it inspires the seniors to get GOLD for 2009 SYF.
Miss Wee ,a percussion tutor from MBS told us that " Air is the main thing for perfect tone.If the amount of air is not enough , resulting in BAD tone and it does not balance the sound quality. Everything lies onto the player itself. Everyone needs to put in emotion to play and imagine the whole story of the music."

By the way , from the exchanges we have been through , we can see that our band are improving slowly , day by day . But the speed of improving are NOT tremendous enough to get a silver YET. We must put in more effort in playing , and commiting ourselves from coming to band practice . we must be RESPONSIBLE with our OWN actions . I know it may sounds hard to get a gold in SYF for our situation right now , but it is possible to strive for it if we pratice oftenly , and staying back just 2 hours for each day if you can.

What the band lacks now is to picture yourself how you want to express your feelings and thoughts into your SUN DANCING and OVERTURE. Playing a music isn't to play just physically but mentally. ONE good example is HUA YI band, they have good sound BUT lack of emotions in their music.


YOU CAN'T DOUBT, IF YOU DOUBT, THEN THAT'S IT. TRUST YOURSELF and YOUR BAND. ESMB! GOLD!
